The 2009 Chevrolet C6 Corvette and the 2009 Nissan GT-R R35 continue the legacy of two established makes’ super performance sports car lines. The C6 Vette starts pricing at the $53,000 range as a convertible and the GT-R, ruled a high-performance sport coupe, at about $77,000. The Chevy sports car opens 2-doors, seats 2, and shows off a manual convertible roof with a glass rear window, while the “Godzilla” R35 is a 2-door, 4-seater. Both models offer a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty and drivetrain, roadside, and rust warranties. Engine and transmission

The 2009 Corvette is quite a bit less expensive than the Nissan GT-R
and offers a powerful 6.2L V8 engine, 16-valve, overhead cam with 430
HP capacity and 434 pound-feet of torque.The 2009 Nissan GT-R is
offered in a 3.8L, V6 engine, 24-valve, double overhead cam and 480 HP
capacity and 430 pound-feet of torque. The Corvette is offered with a
6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed shiftable automatic tranmission,
and the GT-R comes standard with a 6-speed automatic manual
transmission.

Comfort and fuel economy

The 2009 Corvette offers premium leather interior with bucket seating,
while the GT-R sports standard leather and suede interior with bucket
seating. Both models are equipped with front cup holders (and rear on
the Nissan), power outside mirror adjustments for driver and
passengers, cruise control and tilt-adjustable on the Corvette and tilt
and telescopic steering adjustment on the 2009 Nissan GT-R. Both models
offer either optional leather interior or alloy and leather interior
trim.

The 2009 Nissan GT-R is a bit lengthier and heavier than the 2009
Corvette but the Corvette sports 11 cubic feet of luggage capacity
while the Nissan offers 8.8 cubic feet of luggage capacity due to the
