’67 Corvette 427 Gets $750,000 Listing on eBay

Ever get the sense that some people think Corvette fans are suckers for anything Corvette-related?

Think about it: How many times have you seen some Corvette or related item that you thought was WAY overpriced, even if you could afford it?

I get the idea that may have been the case as to why this 1967 Corvette 427 with a L-71 engine didn’t fetch its $750,000 asking price on eBay.

Sure, she’s only got 35,344 miles, but $750, 000 seems like a listing more fit for a Barrett-Jackson collectible than a car sold on eBay, even if it is a classic.

To the sellers credit, the ‘Vette supposedly features all original parts aside from the paint, battery, hoses, belts, and tires. It also comes with documentation of the original owner’s name.

Still, the question remains — is this really, “one of the finest Corvettes for sale in world,” as the seller claims, and is it worth three-quarters of a million dollars? Either way, it’s nice to look at from afar.
