Haul Around Atlanta Motorsport Park in the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport
We previously shared with you some of the first impressions of the lucky folks who got to drive the new 2017 Corvette Grandsport at its media launch in Atlanta. Now, it’s time to go for a ride!
Sadly, that doesn’t involve me actually taking one for a spin, but instead riding shotgun with Jeff Glucker, the executive editor at Hooniverse. I’ve personally never met Jeff, but he seems rather funny in the video below. He at least admits to lacking the guts to push hard through a particular turn at the complex and very twisty Atlanta Motorsport Park, so he’s cool with me too.
The new Grand Sport produces over 460 horsepower out of its LT1 V8 engine, and can be paired to an automatic 8-speed transmission, or a 7-speed manual. According to Jeff, the manual is better, but that’s not really a surprise, is it?
