What is it about European Corvettes? They’re so menacing. An American version of this Z06 would remind me of a tire-smoldering weekend at the track, or a bit of hooning between the stoplights. When I look at this “Wallpaper Wednesday” car, I see a Corvette that looks like it just chased an innocent Ford Fiesta through a British shopping mall.
There are simple mods like upgrading your air filter, to complex mods like engine swaps. Lighting mods, however, can run the entire spectrum, from basic to highly technical and everything in between. Whether you want to light up your Corvette like Clark Griswold lit up his house in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, or you have a more restrained lighting mod in mind, this post is for you.
This week’s Corvette of the Week comes from “Jesterissimo”, but to the mortals outside of Corvette Forum, he’s known as “Rob”. This 2014 Stingray is sitting on a drop-dead gorgeous set of HREs; they go with the Laguna Blue Tintcoat like chips go with salsa. Yum.
OK, so it looks like it was part of a monster truck stunt gone wrong, but at least it’s in once piece. Corvette #1.5 million is the seventh of the “Great Eight” Corvettes to be removed from the sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum.
