Corvette C5 Z06 Looks Stellar on These Forgestar Wheels

Not every forum member is a regular Corvette owner. Some of the best posts and threads come from companies or garages that are showing off what they’ve been working on. In this case, it’s SoCal-based Need 4 Speed Motorsports with a pretty sexy take on a 2004 C5 Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

The car belongs to, naturally, a Corvette Forum member, Laser Guided, who’s down in San Diego. According to his page, he’s done quite a bit of work on his ‘Vette, though you might not know it from the sleek, understated exterior. In the car, he’s added a Vararam Intake, a Vararam Powerduct, a Shaner ported throttle body, B&B Bullets, an MGW short shifter, and he’s had an ECS tune done. The car also has an RPM level V transmission, Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, and it was lowered.

In its new stance, the car hugs the perfectly-fitting Forgestar F14 gloss gunmetal wheels. The sizes are 18×9.5 in the front and 19×11 in the back. Those are wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888 tires, 275/35/18 up front and 305/30/19 in the rear.
