OK, so it looks like it was part of a monster truck stunt gone wrong, but at least it’s in once piece. Corvette #1.5 million is the seventh of the “Great Eight” Corvettes to be removed from the sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum.
For this week’s Wallpaper Wednesday, we’ve got a “little red Corvette” for your enjoyment. Prince may call it little, but this Grand Sport packs a big 430-horsepower wallop.
The C7 Corvette represents a major leap over the C6 in all categories. In terms of design, that leap is best delineated when you compare their rumps. The contrast is striking, isn’t it?
When I look at this German-tuned Corvette, I begin to ponder a great paradox: the Triple X ZR1 would offer such a heavenly experience on the Nürburgring, which is ironically nicknamed “The Green Hell”.
Well, as the saying goes – you can’t keep a good car down. Yup, that was pretty much confirmed today when the ZR1 Blue Devil that fell into the sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky cranked up to the cheers of museum employees.
