First Sinkhole Casualty Returns to Corvette Museum
Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the day the world opened up and swallowed eight museum-quality ‘Vettes. Today, the National Corvette Museum welcomed back the first vehicle pulled from the sinkhole, a fully restored 2009 ZR-1 Blue Devil.
The organizers of the WannaGOFAST half-mile event might want to change the name of the speed race to Corvettes WannaGOFAST, considering how many of the cars show up.
This Throwback Thursday “Top Gear” video, which finds Jeremy Clarkson comparing a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 to the Audi R8, certainly qualifies as a classic, even though Clarkson doesn’t pull any punches.
