I’d imagine that even as popular as the Corvette is, there’s still a certain degree of comfort in knowing that your C7 might be a little different than the other guy in the club who just bought his.
Here’s a good video of someone else giving the NCM course a solid run. Sure, there’d be nothing like hitting those apexes in a C7 myself, but for now, this video posted by Mike Allen doing a hot lap with Ron Fellows will certainly hold me over.
As crazy at it seems considering the heat I’ve given some custom C7s, I really, really like this one. In addition to the fact it was used to raise money for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, I think it’s a pretty cool-looking C7.
If the first-generation (E85) BMW Z4 had “flame surfacing”, the C7 Corvette has “blade surfacing”, and that is delightfully apparent when the Corvette’s exterior is slathered in Blade Silver Metallic.
