If you’re up for a good story that captures the true passion for Corvettes, look no further than the one of Lynda Patterson and her Ruby Red 40th Anniversary model. After years of dreaming of donating the car to the National Corvette Museum, the Louisville native recently did it in memory of her late husband, Mike Patterson, who died of a brain tumor in 2011.
If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know I have a soft spot for our American troops … always have and always will. That said, whenever I come across anything our Veterans are doing in the world of Corvettes, I’m going to do my best to let others know about it on this forum. The most recent news I’ve come across is an event called “All Corvette Cruise Nights” put on by the CT Military Corvette Club (CMCC), which is made up of prior and current military members.
The C7 Corvette represents a major leap over the C6 in all categories. In terms of design, that leap is best delineated when you compare their rumps. The contrast is striking, isn’t it?
All mortals take note, there is one thing you should never, ever do, and that’s touch another person’s Corvette in any form or fashion. That is, unless (1) you’ve been given permission by the owner, (2) you’ve provided at least three solid references or referrals, and (3) signed a waiver that if the Corvette happens to sustain any damage due to your negligence, you agree to waive any and all legal rights typical granted to criminals or the mentally insane.
