When asked by a colleague if the C7 Corvette makes the design of the C6 look dated, my response was, “Absolutely, unequivocally, yes and in a major way.” I went on to say that anyone who disagrees either owns a C6, or should have their eyes checked.
As the Car and Driver spy shot above demonstrates, it looks more likely than ever that there will, in fact, be a mid-engine C8 Corvette.
In the world of custom Corvette’s, there seems to be no such thing as too high of a price, even when the Corvette in question is probably not worth a tenth of what the seller is actually asking for. Take this 1969 Corvette “prototype showcar,” for example.
The shots of delivered Z06 Corvettes continue to roll in. I’ve got 13 more for you in this post. Note: I must give props to that doggie on the right that knows how to pose for a Wallpaper Wednesday.
Look for some traces of the C7 Corvette’s squared-off taillights and sculpted hood to become a prominent fixture at Chevrolet.
