If you’ve been thinking, “yeah, I like the new Z06, but I’d much rather have an older model,” then this is one of those can’t-pass-up kind of moments.

Corvette Forum member blk_lightning is selling his 2006 Z06 with only 64,000 miles on the odometer for $32,000. The mileage alone on the Z06 would make it a steal, but given all the modifications done to the car, we’re actually surprised that it’s managed to go unsold this long.

But we’re not surprised it has managed to snag our Corvette of the Week honor!

The extensive mod list includes 1 7/8″ American Racing headers, an MTI tune that kicks out 495 whp and 472 -lb-ft. of torque, and powder-coated GM wheels, just to name a few of the Z06’s custom features. Blk_lightning says he’s owned the car for about four and a half years and has only put 3,000 miles on it himself.

So, why is he selling it? “I rarely drive it and [am] looking for some different toys,” says the CF member. Hey, that’s good enough for me. And this car is certainly good enough for our Corvette of the Week!
