Corvette Caught Up in Bank Heist
For the life of me, I still can’t understand why someone would try to pull off a caper in a car as popular and highly recognizable as a Corvette.
Then again, I don’t understand what would lead someone to believe in this day and age that they could rob a bank in broad daylight and get away with it.
The fact that the 62-year-old robber tried to pull off the heist in a maroon convertible C4 Corvette, which he told police contained explosives, is just icing on the cake.
Luckily, there were no explosives, but the cash the man stole from the bank was found in the car, which confirms what I’ve been saying all along …everyone shouldn’t be entrusted with a Corvette.
