Mid-Ohio is basically Corvette Racing’s home track, so it’ll be great to watch the team face off against BMW, Ferrari and Porsche there this Saturday. We love the American Le Mans Series, because unlike other forms of racing?like F1 or NASCAR?the weapons-grade cars in the GT2 class share plenty of DNA with their road-going cousins. Corvette Racing so dominated GT1 that ALMS actually retired the class after the 2009 season?big dogs, tall grass, etc.?but contention in GT2 remains fierce.
Check out the video above for an inside look at what goes into a successful pit stop, and don’t miss driver Oliver Gavin’s mid-season recap. Go Corvette Racing!
Here we go.
