You’ll Never Forget Your First Corvette, Especially in Admiral Blue!
It should be noted that at some point in your life, you should own a Corvette. For many of you reading this, you already have or are about to have one in your garage. It’s the most American of sports cars. And the latest generation is truly the greatest Corvette to take on the world.
A prime example, this week’s Corvette of the Week goes to forum member itspeat. Pete just purchased himself a 2017 7MT Stingray in beautiful Admiral Blue.
While Pete might only be 25-years-old, he has made some smart investments in his life, and saves his money. He was looking at used C7 Corvettes, but decided to go ahead and buy new.
“I very rarely treat myself to nice things and am quite frugal with my money, always investing everything I have but I’ve decided that buying this ‘Vette at 25-years-old won’t be the end of my life working as an engineer,” says Pete.

Pete originally didn’t have his heart set on blue, but the dealership said they had the car he wanted for an additional $1,500 off in Admiral Blue. We think the color is quite striking, and we always enjoy seeing Corvettes in rarer or more unique colors.
Also, an LT1-powered Corvette is an excellent first Corvette. We look very forward to seeing Pete around the forums in the years to come, as he enjoys his new ride more and more.
