Corvette of the Week: NCRS Top Flight Award Winning 1970 454 Coupe

Like the NCRS Top Flight Award, they don’t dole the Corvette of the Week honor out to just anyone. And this baby can now claim both titles.

Okay, let’s not kid ourselves, as far as honors go, the COTW is like graduating from middle school, and the NCRS is like graduating from Harvard magna cum laude.

Regardless, this numbers matching, 1970 454 Coupe is certainly a meritorious automobile. Which is why she was an easy pick for this week’s COTW. And if you happen to have a spare $35k, she can be yours!

That’s right, Corvette Forum member tudac3-5-6 recently put this NCRS/COTW winner up for sale. According to the thread, here’s what she’s packing:

70,000 ORIGINAL MILES,
CUSTOM INTERIOR TRIM,
A31 POWER WINDOWS,
A85 CUSTOM SHOULDER BELT,
C50 REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER,
C60 AIR CONDITIONING,
J50 POWER BRAKES,’
LS5 454 CU. IN., 390 HP ENGINE, 500 LB. FT. TORQUE,
M40 TURBO HYDRA-MATIC 400 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION,
N37 TILT-TELESCOPE STEERING,
N40 POWER STEERING,
UA6 ALARM SYSTEM,
U69 AM-FM RADIO.

She’s also had the exhaust and brake systems replaced, and the rear suspension rebuilt.

So yeah, she’s good to go. And, of course, now you can add COTW to that list. Congrats, tudac3-5-6. And good luck with the sale!
