Corvette Z06 Now Holds Royalty Status

We knew it was only a matter of time. Now it’s official: The Corvette Z06 has gone from being an American icon to gaining global Prince status.

The car’s sudden ascension to the royal court can be credited to Corvette Racing’s Jan Magnussen.

During a recent trip to his home country of Denmark, Magnussen had an opportunity to show the car off to Prince Joachim at a race reception at Copenhagen City Hall, as highlighted in a GM Authority report. We have no idea what his Royal Highness actually said about the Z06, but Prince Joachim certainly seemed intrigued by the car.

Now that the cat’s out of the bag in Europe, I suspect it won’t be long before Prince Harry calls Chevy to see if he can get his hands on a Z06. The certified Apache Aircraft Commander certainly has a thing for the kind of thrills that come with driving the high powered ‘Vette.
