Every once in a while, a for-sale post stands out to us. Sometimes it’s an atrocity that we find on Craigslist, other times it is a diamond in the rough, like this Bridgehampton Blue Stingray. This numbers-matching, early 1970 Stingray sports an L46 350/350 engine, close ratio 4-speed gearbox, and 3:36 Posi final-drive. While it’s not an L88, the L46 is still a very potent motor with 350 horsepower on tap.

The VIN indicates it was produced very early in 1970, though this one was well equipped from the factory. Disc brakes all around, AM/FM stereo, power steering, and factory alarm system are all included, as is a fair bit of documentation. The like-new condition is from the result of a body-on restoration that was completed in 2014. It has clocked in 57K miles, but during the restoration, all suspension components were replaced. The way it drives is described as “like new,” which is very believable. It’s priced at $30,000 and the seller, corvettel46, is eager to get it to a new owner, as he is making room for another toy.
