Oh, today is a good day for fans of PC racing. The Forza franchise, long held as the pinnacle of console racers, is finally coming to PC, and you only have to wait six more days to get your hands on it. Forza Motorsports 6: Apex is a special edition of the Xbox One game that has been rebuilt for Windows 10. It uses DirectX 12 for even better graphics, and it supports 4K resolution for the sharpest detail possible. In short, it looks like a million dollars delivered to you on a gold platter. The game is launching in open beta next Thursday, May 5th.

Forza Motorsports 6: Apex is completely free to anyone running Windows 10, but that doesn’t mean it’s a short little experience. Turn 10 says Apex is launching with 63 cars and 20 track layouts across six locations. Then as the summer winds on, the team will be adding more and more content. You can watch the video below to get a peek at what the game looks like, and make sure you keep your eyes open to spot the C7.R hunting down its prey.

If you want to get ready to download and play, but you are worried that your current computer won’t run the game, we are including the list of system requirements below. So you can make sure you have the proper hardware to run the game by next week.
