GM Could Face Class Action Suit for Corvette C6 Z06

Before you even read another line, you should know this has nothing to do with the current Z06 — although we imagine it might stir some things up, given all the complaints about the car overheating.

On the other hand, there might be some who think suing GM for a faulty engine is going a little too far. Either way, it’s heating up to be one hell of a mess for the company, if you ask me.

The complaint, filed by 19 Corvette owners, specifically focuses on the previous generation Corvette C6 427 and Z06, asserting that the models suffer from valve-guide wear issues that can lead to engine failure, as highlighted in a Road & Track report.

Even worse, the suit claims that GM was fully aware of the problems, which is bound to raise a few eyebrows, given the issues the company has had with some safety recalls in recent months.
