Here’s a Z06 Corvette That Couldn’t Wait to Hit the Track

Hats off to this one.

While I’m certain some folks in the car world might frown upon the idea of someone taking their Z06 to the track a mere 10 minutes after taking delivery of the car, I say what better way to celebrate the occasion?

The laps, captured in the video below posted by Michael Brown, show a very recent Museum Delivery Corvette doing some laps at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green.

Okay, so maybe this is more of a publicity stunt than a real go at the track, given the fact that the clip hardly seems like the typical raw footage we find posted by Corvette owners who seem more genuinely interested in sharing their experiences with the car. The video’s music and editing almost leads you to believe that it’s more of an ad for the Z06 than anything else.

Either way, we’ll take it as a quick 30-second reminder of what the new Z06 was really intended for: the track. So what are you waiting for? Get out there already!
