Highlights From the 2016 Michelin NCM Bash

For those of us not lucky enough to attend last week’s Michelin NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum, there’s thankfully some video highlights to make sure or appetite for Corvettes is properly satiated. The highlights below feature some fabulous attractions, including the introduction of the new Corvette Grand Sport by John Hutchinson (via the Grand Sport Registry) and demos from other specialty car makers such as Heartland Customs and Concept Z.

The big message, of course, was to show how close the community has stayed over the years. There may be some who prefer the older cars, but no one can deny that the Corvette has stayed true to its lineage in the C7. Plus, for the adrenaline seekers attending, access was granted to National Corvette Museum’s motorsport complex for hot laps and a real test of how virtuous these machines truly are.

Heck, I don’t even have a Corvette (yet) and I’m jealous of the time everyone seems to have had. So who’s with me for the 2017 trip? Perhaps they might give us some sneak peek info on the rumored Zora. After all, they did reveal some info on the 2017 Corvette Z06.
