Kendall Jenner, Jay Leno Cruise L.A. in Her ’56 Corvette

Jay Leno is certainly no stranger to Corvettes and star power. But given the number of social media followers tied to the latest famous ‘Vette owner featured on Jay Leno’s Garage, it’s easy to assume that he’s a bit out of his league.

Then again, there aren’t many Corvette owners who can match the 69 million followers glued to Kendall Jenner’s Instagram account.

However, it’s Leno whose influence is much bigger than most celebrities. Case in point: 21-year-old model Kendall actually purchased her 1956 Corvette after visiting Leno’s vast collection of exotic autos.

This explains how he was able to land the mega-star for a new episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, premiering tonight, Nov 30, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CNBC. In the episode, titled “Old School vs. New School,” Jenner takes Leno for a ride in her blue convertible Corvette. The show is sure to garner its own fair share of likes from the model’s social media followers.

The new episode also features Jay test-driving two generations of Chevy Corvettes, including a brand-new Corvette Grand Sport, with two generations of Jenners: Kendall and her equally famous parent, Caitlin. The trio spends some time cruising L.A. and comparing and contrasting Kendall’s classic car with the Corvette Grand Sport.

“You could sell [Kendall’s ’56 Corvette], buy [the Grand Sport], and have $20,000 left over,” jokes Leno. Consequently, he’s right. Jenner’s car is estimated to cost around $84,000.
