Michelin Presents Wallpaper Wednesday: Best Resto Mod Ever

1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1RS Home

My jaw has fallen off. This has to be the best Corvette resto mod ever, right? Please argue with me on this one because I would love to see you come up with something better, but I think that’s physically and artistically impossible. If you are able to show me something better, cooler and more glorious than this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1RS, my eyes will shoot out of their sockets clear across the United States.

In 2009 this C1RS received the SEMA GM Design Award for Best Hot Rod, and it was the Goodguys Street Machine of the Year. It’s even sporting a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Underneath the hood, it’s running a 640-horsepower LS7, which is connected to a Tremec T56 Bowler six-speed cog-swapper.

Here in the office, I have had my colleagues challenge me on this resto mod’s number-one rank in my book.

My eyes are still sitting in my skull.
