Popularity data has both positives and negatives. For one, businesses like it because they know what to give their consumers. But if you’re a Corvette owner, you likely want something that is a bit unique. If you bought a 2016 Corvette, however, you’re most likely to pull up at a stop sign next to an Arctic White number, over any other color Corvette. It just manages to edge out Jet Black as the most popular exterior color for 2016.
Arctic White might have been the most popular exterior color by a good margin, but if you were to look inside those white C7s, the interior colors were another matter all together. Jet Black and Adrenaline Red were split almost evenly, with a slight edge toward crimson.

As it turns out, Torch Red, arguably Corvette’s most widely-known exterior color, came in as third most popular, making up just 15% of total sales.
Among the rarities were the paints of Admiral Blue and Daytona Orange. Leather colors of Brownstone, Twilight Blue, and Spice Red all tied for 1% of production. And if you really wanted rare, you picked the combo of Admiral Blue with a Brownstone interior. Just one example each were made for the Stingray and the Z06.
