National Corvette Museum Thanks Veterans

Vets n Vettes

Perhaps there is no car that better represents the values of America than the Corvette. So it just makes sense that the National Corvette Museum celebrates America’s veterans, the real protectors of those values.

Last week, the National Corvette Museum honored Veterans by hosting their eighth annual Vets ‘n Vettes event. As you can see in the thank you video below, the museum offered veterans, including Wounded Warriors, free admission, a tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant, a free lunch, a goody bag from Mobil 1, and a gift card to the Corvette Store.

Veterans were also given a much deserved “place of honor” at the Bowling Green Veterans Day parade this past weekend.

Perhaps the most exciting honor veterans received, though, came in the form of a Corvette ride along on the NCM Motorsports Park track. “The best thing ever is to see the look on their faces when they get their Corvette ride,” Katie Frassinelli, the NCM’s marketing and communications manager, told the Bowling Green Daily News.

Kudos to the NCM for sponsoring such a great event. And of course, thanks to all the veterans, today and everyday.
