With all the focus on the new motorsports park at the National Corvette Museum, there hasn’t been a lot of buzz around the sinkhole that once had the world captivated.

Now it looks like things will be revving up again around the site as officials begin filling the sinkhole in three weeks, according to a Kentucky.com report. The fix will also include temporarily relocating six of the eight cars swallowed up in the sinkhole that are now being displayed in the Skydome.

The project is expected to be completed by next summer.

In the meantime, if you’re one of those who have been dying to get a glimpse of the catastrophe in its current state, you’ve got until Nov. 9; that’s when the area gets closed for repairs.
