The New Corvette Z06 is Hot … Literally

It seems as if there’s no end to the number of engineering feats pulled off with the 2015 Corvette Z06.

One of the latest to come up is the car’s pretty damn impressive number of BTUs.

Taking into consideration every development area of the car, from its intake-air compression to the low hood line and pinched frontal opening, it’s clear that the Chevy team went to painstaking lengths to control the heat coming out of that 650-hp, 6.2-liter supercharged V8, as highlighted in the chart below.
