NoviStretch Presents Corvette of the Week: A Dream Come True

For many, owning a Corvette is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. As is the case for Corvette Forum member, C6christion, who bought a stock C6 nine months ago.

To celebrate the anniversary, and to show off his 2005’s transformation, C6christion posted a before and after pic, from the first day he brought the car home, to how she stands today. C6christion also posted these heartfelt words:

“Have had the vette 9 months and by far the most enjoyable car I’ve ever owned. Went from bone stock to full exhaust, Intake, and tune. Loving every second of it just have the horsepower bug now 😈”

As you can see in the gallery below, C6christion’s ‘Vette has gone from pretty darn hot to very, very hot. Hot enough to inspire us to name her this week’s NoviStretch Corvette of the Week!

Of course, we weren’t the only ones inspired. Upon seeing the pic, new member NMJoe decided to post the following:

“I’ve had my car for just about one month. This is my first Corvette, although it has been my dream car for 40 years. I find myself having a difficult time going to sleep each night, as I can’t wait for the morning when I get to drive my baby again. My wife thinks I’m crazy/obsessed, and perhaps she has a point, but I’ve worked and waited a long time for this moment, and my anticipation and expectations have not been disappointed. I feel like I thought I would when I was seven and fell in love with the early C3.”

A beautiful sentiment, indeed. And certainly one that a lot of folks here at Corvette Forum can agree with, including C6christion:

“My first corvette as well, has been my dream car for as long as I can remember. I can agree with the obsessed feeling and can’t imagine not having a corvette in the garage for the rest of my life haha!”
