NoviStretch Presents Corvette of the Week: a Little Red 1972 L48 Convertible

Sometimes we choose a NoviStretch Corvette of the Week based upon not just the beauty of the ‘Vette, but also because of the beauty of the story behind it. This is not one of those times. Corvette Forum member redrdstr72‘s C3 Stingray is just straight-up the hottest ‘Vette we’ve seen all week. So it wins.

That’s not to say there isn’t a great story behind this 1972 L48 Convertible. But we don’t get much of it, not from the information gleaned in the “new RED Vette thread…post your RED Corvette” thread, where we first discovered this beauty.

Still, while posting the pics below, redrdstr72 does give us good reason to imagine all the plot twists that went into getting this little red Corvette to shine so bright:

“Now that I’ve figured out that I can post pictures right from my computer, I have these pics, showing my 2 top convertible. Built Aug 23, 1971. Restored 1990-1991 and again 2005-present (it never ends).”

Yep, sounds like some hard work went into this beauty. But you know what you get when you work hard? Well, in this case, you get the NoviStretch Corvette of the Week.
