OPTIMA Presents 23 Shots of Delivered Z06 Corvettes

In the Driveway … Victory!

This week we’re celebrating the lucky ones; the people who are living their dreams and driving the best Corvette yet: the 2015 Z06. We all want to be the guys who are privileged enough to stare at their new Z06s in their driveways and garages. We all want to be the guys who get to press the Z06’s start button every day and drive off into the sunset with 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque at their beck and call. We want to be the guys who know that when they put their collective right foot to the firewall, 585 rear-wheel horsepower and 617 rear-wheel lb-ft of torque are doing their best to murder the rear tires.

The crazier among us even want to rack up their first mile in the 2015 Zo6 standing still, doing a burnout and making cheering audiences disappear in a hurricane cloud of expensive tire smoke.

Some of you who have your Corvette Z06s on order will be one of those guys (or gals) soon. Like me, some of you may have to wait a little longer. While we’re waiting, we’ll be looking to you, the lucky ones. We’ll be sharing in your joy and imagining how awesome it would feel to be in your shoes, or drivers seat, for that matter.

I’ve already named the Vengeance Racing Corvette Z06 (the one that did a three-mile burnout before it left the dealer lot) this week’s Corvette of the Week, but I’m sharing that designation with the happy folks who have been fortunate enough to have their Z06s delivered this week.
