Paul Teutul Jr. of American Chopper has found a cool way to help promote safety at construction sites: a customized C7 Corvette.

The green Corvette, painted with the numbers “818,” is aimed at promoting an “818” number for a state call center, which will send a crew to an area to make sure it’s safe for digging, as highlighted in a Delmarva Now report.

The unveiling for Teutul Jr.’s custom ‘Vette was held at the Miss Utility’s 2016 Greater Chesapeake Damage Prevention Training Conference, which invites people from Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Washington D.C. to learn more about how to make safety a priority when working on construction projects.

In addition to the custom paint job, the Corvette also got some tweaking under the hood to the tune of 750 horsepower and 777 lb-ft. of torque. But the most interesting custom feature are the wheels, which Teutul says were made with a hammer and chisel to handle the car’s power, a process that took 400 hours to complete.
