I suspect there’ll be a lot of Corvette fans on hand in Oklahoma City, February 19 – 21. That is, if they’ve gotten wind of this amazing auction scheduled at the area’s local fairgrounds that weekend.

Then again, I imagine just about every Corvette collector knows that 40 Corvettes from the collection of renowned car aficionado Tom Falbo will be auctioned off then, which should make it quite a show for American car fans, as highlighted in a Car and Parts report.

Handled by the Leake Auction Company, the collection features prized Corvettes from 1957-1975, including 20 from 1967. Still questioning the magnitude of the event? Well, check out what Richard Sevenoaks, the president of Leake Auction Company, had to say about it.

“This collection was a huge find for us. We had to extend our Oklahoma City [auction] to three days to accommodate it,” stated Sevenoaks. “We believe this auction will set the market for Corvettes with forty crossing the block without reserve.”

Sounds pretty darn momentous, wouldn’t you say?
