Race Proven Motorsports Corvette Z06 Will Give Your Drag Car a Proven Whoopin’
The battle to earn or keep the title of World’s Fastest C7 Corvette has quickly turned into some must-see YouTube viewing. We’ve seen runs from Late Model Racecraft, the Horsepower Addicts, and AMP, and all three have made claims that their cars hold the top spot (they all did, at one point).
The LMR C7 did a 9.9-second quarter-mile pass early on; the HA ‘Vette did a 9.8-second quarter-mile pass later; and the AMP did it in 9.3 seconds, which is just mind-numbing. Now we have another player: Race Proven Motorsports.
The RPM Corvette is a beautiful, white, ProCharged Z06, and it too is an absolute monster on the track. Captured at Holly LS Fest by Big Kleib in the video below, the Z06 faces off against some muscle, old and new, and even another ‘Vette. All-in-all, there are four runs, and although it doesn’t break the 9.3-second record, it’s definitely getting close.
Watching this thing is just magical. The multiple levels of powerful sounds, the charger, the burnouts! It’s enough to get excited about even before the car pulls up to the line. Then it damn near wheelies as it grabs blacktop and flies out of site. Enjoy!
