Suspect in Corvette Road Rage Shooting Captured
Great news, folks. Remember that idiot Mustang driver who shot a female Corvette owner on a freeway after she waved for the Mustang to pass her?
Well, police have apprehended the suspect in the alleged road rage incident, and apparently he’s no stranger to crime.
According to a GM Authority report, the convicted felon has a pretty lengthy rap sheet and was actually caught after being involved in an auto theft case completely unrelated to the Corvette shooting.
In the road rage incident, the suspect faces charges for two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
“We’re all much safer now, because he’s in custody,” said Police Captain Paul Braun. The local law enforcement official also had a bit of advice for the rest of us, given the recent rise in road rage incidents.
“Try not use any type of hand gestures…even though you may be waving, someone else may interpret that differently,” he said.
Unfortunately, the victim, Angelina Christiano, is still in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds in her upper back. Let’s all keep Angelina in our thoughts while wishing her a speedy recovery.
