Corvette of the Week: This 1972 Stingray Is Hot, but Getting Hotter
It was just last September that Corvette Forum member Mark Gerardy became a “proud Corvette owner with a ’72 Stingray,” and yet here he is today, a Corvette of the Week winner.
Corvette Forum member redrdstr72’s C3 Stingray is just straight-up the hottest ‘Vette we’ve seen all week.
I’ve come under fire for some of my opinions on custom Corvettes, but I won’t back down on my views with this one. This lime-green atrocity with its makeshift truck bed should be covered up forever. If someone wants to be buried in a Corvette, let it be this one.
The 1972 Corvette Stingray was a part of the C3 design group of Chevrolet Corvettes.
