I’ve heard songs that mention turbo ‘Vettes and little red Corvettes, but I’ve never heard a song that mentions a yellow Corvette. It would have been nice if Wiz Khalifa’s song “Black and Yellow” was about a Corvette, but the lyrics actually signified his allegiance to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the car in the “Black and Yellow” music video was a Dodge Challenger SRT8. Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” music video has 171 million views on YouTube, but maybe it would have already hit 200 million if it had featured a Corvette like the one above. OK, maybe not, but a ‘Vette in the video would have been nice.
What is it about European Corvettes? They’re so menacing. An American version of this Z06 would remind me of a tire-smoldering weekend at the track, or a bit of hooning between the stoplights. When I look at this “Wallpaper Wednesday” car, I see a Corvette that looks like it just chased an innocent Ford Fiesta through a British shopping mall.

We know any way you shake it, the C7 Corvette Stingray is a decent leap ahead of the base C6 ‘Vette, but what if you compare a nearly stock Stingray to a decently modded C6? In the Fast Lane Car video below, you’ll see a 2014 C7 Corvette on racing tires battle a 2010 C6 […]
