OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Volcanoes Fear this Blue Devil
I have a suspicion volcanoes fear erupting, for it might piss off this particular Blue Devil.
Typically, I’d never associate a review for a Corvette with a stand-up routine at a comedy club. Yet, that’s the first thing that comes to mind in this 2008 Corvette review recently posted on YouTube by the guys from Regular Car Reviews.
Apparently fans of the 638-horsepower C6 ZR1 still have a little time to pick up one of the cars despite all other C6 production having been discontinued.
I’m not quite sure how I missed this one, but considering that it’s built on the beloved C6 platform, I figured it’s deserving of a few comments here, good or bad. The Soleil Anadi, hand-built in Italy, was showcased at the recent New York International Auto Show, and so far counts three owners in the Middle East as its exclusive customer base, according to a New York Times report.
I can’t remember if I’ve ever come across a creepy Corvette, but this one certainly fits the bill. The eerie-looking C6 was created by a fan of Forza Motorsport 4. From the dripping blood, to Pennywise, the Dancing Clown from Stephen King’s “It”, the design is a pretty strange take on a Corvette.
