C2 Corvette Cut-Away Could Fetch Big Money at Auction
For sale at auction: a 1965 C2 Corvette cut-away, which was designed as a display to showcase everything from the car’s engine to the four-wheel independent suspension.
There may be some confusion about how many Corvettes with 36-gallon fuel tanks were built back in the ‘60s, but there’s certainly no question about how valued these cars are to auctioneers now.
While we’re certainly happy for Bob Guarrera, there’s a part of us that’s more than a little envious about the fact he only paid $650 for this beautiful 1958 Corvette.
This 1962 silver Corvette roadster was first restored in 2011, but we can’t imagine it looking any less striking now than the day it rolled out of the old St. Louis manufacturing facility some 53 years ago.
