One of our new members decided to purchase a C5, with a little help from a thoughtful and informative Corvette Forum thread.

Early last month came news of a list of GM Performance Parts for the Corvette Stingray that Chevrolet was going to offer. The only problem was the fine print that raised serious questions about how the upgrades would impact C7 warranties.

When we first came across this 2015 Torch Red Z06, we immediately knew she was Corvette of the Week material.

We’ve heard mention of the non-Z51 equipped transmission overheating, but we’ve not seen too many reports of the transmission completely leaving you stranded.

You may think nothing of a few prods of the gas pedal early on in your Corvette’s break-in period, but the greatest change in engine surface area happens in those first few hundred miles.

Sorry, but there’s just no changing our decision for this week’s Corvette of the Week. She just sits too pretty not to win.
