In case you haven’t been keeping track, the C7.R has quickly become the car to beat in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship’s GT Le Mans class.
Maybe Godzilla isn’t the big behemoth to beat after all. In this battle against a twin-turbo C6 Corvette, the Nissan GT-R, nicknamed after the towering monster, seemed far less superior.

It’s no secret that despite the appeal of the Corvette as an everyday sports car, it has a cherished legacy in the world of racing as well. Look no further than the new C7.R, which has been heating up this year’s GT Le Mans series, for proof of that.
I really need to dial up one of these professional driving schools to see if they’d be up for whipping me around a track in a C7 with a more experienced driver at the helm. As much as I love being behind the wheel myself, I certainly realize there are a lot of people more qualified to give me a better feel of what the new Corvette is really capable of.
