Sometimes you come across things on social media sites that you just have to share. I picked this one up from the official Facebook page for Lingenfelter Race Gear, owned by Corvette collector Ken Lingenfelter who also owns Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. It’s a pretty good stab at those Honda guys, and a few others who own imports. Hopefully you guys enjoy the meme after the jump as much as I did.
Until we get confirmation of the C7 Z06′s performance madness, the C6 ZR1 still remains the high water mark of Corvette performance. The ZR1′s capabilities were helped in no small part to all the data and experience acquired in the Corvette Racing program. This week’s Wednesday wallpaper pays homage to a major component of what made the C6 ZR1 great: its racing pedigree.
Far be it for me to start spreading rumors, but this one here is pretty interesting, true or not. After hearing Vice President Joe Biden rave so much about the new Corvette Stingray, it appears he might have recently taken delivery of one.
I can’t remember if I’ve ever come across a creepy Corvette, but this one certainly fits the bill. The eerie-looking C6 was created by a fan of Forza Motorsport 4. From the dripping blood, to Pennywise, the Dancing Clown from Stephen King’s “It”, the design is a pretty strange take on a Corvette.
This week, forum member “FYREANT” posted the topic “What did you nickname your new C7 Stingray?” A lot of folks posted great replies in the thread, but the response that really caught my eye was this one from “Whataguy”.
