Would You Pay $100k for This Corvette ‘Prototype Showcar’?
In the world of custom Corvette’s, there seems to be no such thing as too high of a price, even when the Corvette in question is probably not worth a tenth of what the seller is actually asking for. Take this 1969 Corvette “prototype showcar,” for example.
This custom retro Corvette Nomad thing, presumably designed by a blind guy with an Etch-e-sketch on a bumpy road, can be yours for the low, low price of $125,000.
Do you think it’s outrageous to spend $100,000 to mod a $20,000 C5 Corvette? What if that $100,000 is spent swapping all the car’s fiberglass body panels for carbon fiber pieces?
