Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the day the world opened up and swallowed eight museum-quality ‘Vettes. Today, the National Corvette Museum welcomed back the first vehicle pulled from the sinkhole, a fully restored 2009 ZR-1 Blue Devil.

The sound of machinery clacking in this video is proof that restoring the Skydome at the National Corvette Museum is really underway. And if you sense a bit of sarcasm in my “really” comment, you should because so many of the plans surrounding the museum have been up in the air until recently.
