The induction of Russ McLean into the National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame is one award ceremony you won’t want to miss.

The National Corvette Museum is selling bricks from a Flint, MI factory in which the first 300 Corvettes were handbuilt back in 1953.

Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the day the world opened up and swallowed eight museum-quality ‘Vettes. Today, the National Corvette Museum welcomed back the first vehicle pulled from the sinkhole, a fully restored 2009 ZR-1 Blue Devil.

The sound of machinery clacking in this video is proof that restoring the Skydome at the National Corvette Museum is really underway. And if you sense a bit of sarcasm in my “really” comment, you should because so many of the plans surrounding the museum have been up in the air until recently.

Corvette Museum executive director, Wendell Strode, officially started filling in the Corvette-munching sinkhole by throwing the first rock into the abyss on Monday.

The National Corvette Museum wrapped up November with a month of tributes honoring our military members, and that’s something we can all be thankful for.

Underneath, the car featured a cooling fan powered by, of all things, a snowmobile engine that would actually pull the car to the ground with about 1,000 pounds of downforce, which is how it got the name “Sucker Vette.”
