Personally, this one is painful for me to look at. The idea of seeing a wrecked new Z06 sitting on a flatbed truck driving down the road is like watching someone’s charred remains cruising around in a convertible hearse.
While it doesn’t sound like the driver is going full-force with the Z06 in the video after the jump, he did manage to shunt it. Hopefully they brought spares.
If the Acura NSX does ever make it to production, it will be built in Ohio — the same state where it is being engineered. In many ways the NSX will be America’s next sports car, and a welcome Corvette competitor … if it ever sees the light of day.
Be sure to zero in at the 7:25 mark, which highlights how dangerous Corvette intimidation can be on a track like the Green Hell.
The opportunity to take any car out for a lap on Germany’s Nürburgring would be great, but the chance to drive a C7 on the famous track would be priceless for any Corvette fan.
