Corvette Forum members love to talk trash on me because of my love for the C4 Corvette … particularly model years 1992 to 1994. I realize generation four was not a banner era for the brand, but I think C4s would be remembered more fondly if the ZR-1 were the only variant of Corvette produced during that time. At about $60,000 in the 1990s, it was an expensive car, but it was a formidable player on the world stage competing with the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo. I dream of owning a C4 ZR-1. Mecum’s Indy Auction Offering Corvette Treasures

Dana Mecum’s name is being changed to “Indiana Mecum” because like “Indiana Jones” he has a way of finding treasures, Corvette treasures, and offering them for sale at his vaunted Indianapolis Spring Auction, May 14th through May 19th. This year “Indiana Mecum” will auction over 2,000 collector cars and motorcycles during his six day extravaganza.
