Vengeance Racing Corvette C6 Z06 Packs 1,400 Horsepower

There’s a lot of buzz on Corvette Forum over one of Vengeance Racing’s latest Corvette mods.

Then again, considering it’s a 1,400-horsepower 2009 Corvette Z06 with 1,321 lb-ft of torque, would you expect anything less?

Replacing the 505-horsepower, 7.0-liter V8 in the standard beefed-up C6 is a racing engine with a special crank, cam, pistons, and heads, along with a few other special touches. But the source of most of the output boost comes courtesy of two Precision 6766 turbochargers, an air-to-water intercooler, and new x-pipe exhaust.

Vengeance’s latest beast is also equipped with Pfadt adjustable coil-over shocks and springs, anti-roll bars, and ZR1 carbon-ceramic brakes. It also features a management system that can reign in that horsepower all the way down to 800 horses.

Custom interior features include leather and Alcantara, and extra soundproofing to foster a civilized cabin environment when all that power is roaring under the hood.
