Corvette C6 Z06 Makes Example Out of 1,000 HP GT-R

Hey, if you know any GT-R owners who just can’t seem to shut up about how fast their Nissan is, you might want to send them a link to this clip. And you might want to include a little note saying, “Better luck next time.”

One would think that a car touted as “Godzilla” and pushing 1,000-plus horsepower would stick a little closer to this C6 Z06, even if it is supercharged.

I’m sure all those GT-R fans will be quick to point out that the driver who got annihilated by this ‘Vette is obviously a novice on the drag strip, as highlighted in the BigKleib34 video below. But given the gap between the two cars, I doubt if even a pro-driver at the wheel would have made much of a difference. This race isn’t close by a long-shot, regardless of what angle it’s viewed from.

Then again, we have no idea what kind of power the Race Proven Motorsports Corvette is packing, which is probably the bigger story here.
