Stock Corvette Z06 A8 Blasts Consistent 10s on the Drag Strip
We know the new Z06 is fast, but seeing just how quick this monster really is at the strip never ceases to amaze. To illustrate this, Corvette Forum member Vigilante recently posted a video that shows a completely stock Z06 doing several runs, each one of them consistently in the 10s. With the 8-speed auto, this car is a no muss, no fuss drag strip destroyer.
Sadly, the young lady behind the wheel doesn’t win every race, but that time consistency is something to be proud of and amazed by. This is a 100-percent bone stock Z06, after all.
As an extra bonus, seeing that Laguna Blue paint glisten and sparkle under the bright track lights, as the thunderous roar of 650 supercharged horsepower turns the rear tires to smoke, is one of the best things you can see on YouTube. That epic license plate just adds a little cherry to this visual slice of pie.
