What’s the Craziest Thing You’ve Ever Crammed Into Your Corvette?

The Corvette is not typically used for utility purposes, and that’s fine. It’s a sports car, not a mini van. But it’s always fun to hear the story of someone who’s crammed something quite large into a Corvette. To show the Corvette’s practicality, the folks over at 1320video had some fun taking a lawnmower found on the side of the road and throwing it in the back of a ZR-1.

Thankfully the Corvette’s hatch allows for some bulky stuff to be thrown behind the seats, as long as you’re okay with driving with the hatch open. Though landscaping companies aren’t really going to replace their trucks with a Corvette any time soon, this video is impressive in that it shows how perfectly the mower fits.

Does the mower beat your most impressive Corvette loading feat? I have a few stories of impressive things I’ve been able to fit within the confines of my own car (which is also a V8-powered coupe, albeit not a Corvette). My most impressive feat? Cramming two 7-foot tall bookshelves in my car, with the assistance of flat-packaging from a particular Swedish furniture store.

And just so you’re aware, this video contains some NSFW language.
