Will the C7 Corvette be Considered a “Classic”?
The word “classic” is nothing to take lightly, especially not in the world of Corvettes. Just hearing the term “Classic Corvette” conjures up images of some of the most iconic cars ever produced. Cars which have endured decades of credibility, and are among some of the most prized automobiles on the planet.
So when it comes to the world of Corvettes, there seems to be a lingering question among a few here in the Corvette Forum office as to whether the C7 will go down as a classic.
One thing’s for sure, the model certainly has left quite an impressionable mark on the world. It’s one of the most talked about and popular models in decades. But the question remains: what exactly makes a Corvette a “classic”? And does the C7 have what it takes to hold the same kind of value as models like a 1965 Corvette Sting Ray or a 2009 ZR1?
